If The Shoe Fits, Wear It!
Thursday, December 18th, 2008What was George Bush thinking when he went to visit Iraq? Was this his last hurrah as Commander in Chief? Did he think that the Iraqis would welcome him with open arms after the destruction and misery he created in their country?
The one moment I have enjoyed during his administration was the when the first shoe was thrown. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time! I was impressed on how agile Mr. Bush was; he looks as if he has practice from dodging objects being hurled at him! My only regret is that one of those shoes didn’t emboss his forehead.
The scene was a perfect exit for America’s lame duck President. January 20, 2009 can’t get here soon enough.
